Waterloo, Belgium, July 1, 2008 -- MasterCard and Bank Asya have launched Asyacard DIT - a multi-application chip and PIN card, combining the power of MasterCard EMV OneSmart features with an integrated municipal toll and transit application to create one of the world's most versatile and advanced chip cards. The card also offers the additional benefits of MasterCard® PayPassT contactless technology.
The MasterCard OneSmart program helps banks to develop new chip-based added value applications quickly and easily.
