"Cards&Payments Europe Awards"  of the year 2009, which has been organizing for 22 years by "Cards International" and "Electronic Payments International" announcing  internationally, went to their prize holders in Prague with a ceremony.

AsyaCard DIT of Bank Asya, multi-function contactless credit card has been qualified to receive an award in the category of Best New Credit Card Product Launch, in the competition organized every year on the global scale and where banks and banking products are evaluated in 10 separate categories. AsyaCard DIT PayPass was nominated for award by Mastercard as it is one of the most advanced contactless credit cards launched up to the present and qualified for the finals. Thus Bank Asya succeeded in being the "only" Turkish bank on behalf of Turkey in all categories.

Bank Asya Deputy General Manager Unsal SOZBIR, who accepted the award on behalf of Bank Asya, said AsyaCard DIT has become a worldwide registered trademark and taken its place among the world's most developed multi-function credit cards with international awards received latest award. Mr. Sozbir, noting that the bank has achieved great success with AsyaCard DIT in transport projects where applied in a very short time, said AsyaCard DIT has acquired vogue since May 2008 when introduced and has reached to 350 thousand Bank Asya users in a very short time.
